C.F. Kingston and Sons have been specializing in traditional stonework throughout Devon and Somerset for almost two decades. The business was started by Clifford Kingston who has developed his skills as a stonemason through many years of experience and working alongside other skilled craftsmen.  Joined by his son Matthew, C. F. Kingston and Sons has now developed into a family business with a modern outlook but the same traditional values, skills and craftsmanship passed down from one generation to another.

We are proud to have worked on some great projects over the years. Our work ranges from conservation and restoration of listed and heritage property, barn conversions and complete new builds to garden walls, fireplaces and other external or internal features.

Our approach is respectful and sensitive to the project we are working on, its surroundings and the environment. We use traditional methods and techniques that have proven to be long lasting and sympathetic to the integrity of the structure created. We aim to use local materials and providers as much as possible adding towards a sustainable approach to building. We are able to use pre-existing stone or source and match the most suitable type for your project. We work closely with local quarries and are also able to offer and supply a choice of materials if needed.

We can offer a team to suit your needs however small or large your project. We are happy to recommend and collaborate with other skilled local tradesmen or work alongside a team of your choosing.
