Gardens and Landscaping
At C.F. Kingston and Sons we take great pleasure in creating functional and beautiful stonework for your gardens and other outdoor spaces. Whether it is building a boundary wall or a garden design feature we have the practical knowledge and eye for detail to effectively complete your project. Whatever your requirements we cover all aspects of outdoor masonry work.
To date we have built and restored many different gardens, aspects of which include building boundary and retaining walls, dry stone walling, garden terracing, steps and paving as well as executing intricate design features. Whether you have a small garden or extensive grounds we believe that adding a stonework element will always enhance and add character to it.
Working closely with architects, landscape designers and clients we make sure that your designs are executed accurately and to the highest standard. As well as creating new outdoor spaces we also have experience working on formal and heritage gardens, if your property or gardens are listed please take a look at our Conservation and Restoration page for more information.
One of the most enjoyable areas of our work has to be dry stone walling - a method of building walls with nothing but interlocking stone. Dry stone walls are an important feature of our landscape and as such we believe that it is a traditional craft that should be carried on for future generations. C.F.Kingston and Sons are professional members of the Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain (DSWA) and Heritage Crafts Association.
If you own or manage a farm or an estate we offer competitive rates for large scale walling projects including dry stone walls, ditched walls and traditional Devon banks.
Depending on your project we are able to work as a main contractor or subcontractor. Please contact us for a quote and to arrange an on-site consultation.
